Bow Mar Water and Sanitation has contracted with Levi Contractors, Inc. to complete the following water main replacement project for 2024.
Mobilization for this project will start the week of July 8. Anticipated completion for this project is August 30, 2024.

This project will replace approximately 1,400 feet of 6” cast iron pipe and will be replaced with 6” PVC pipe, which will reduce the frequency of water main breaks. This project is part of an ongoing effort to rehabilitate the District’s aging infrastructure and improve the quality and reliability of water distribution in your neighborhood.
The anticipated working hours for this project are Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm. Affected residents will receive written notification closer to the start of construction.
District staff, its consultant, and its construction contractor will work closely with the residents and regulatory agencies to minimize disruptions to traffic and the environment. Water service may be interrupted when the new water mains are connected to the existing mains, however, this will be limited to a few hours at a time. Residents will be notified at least 24 hours in advance before service is interrupted. Emergency shutoffs may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. If requested, the District can supply bottled drinking water to impacted customers during scheduled outages.
