DENVER — Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025 – On Sept. 9, 2025, the Denver Broncos, Gov. Jared Polis and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston announced that Burnham Yard is the preferred home for the new stadium site.
As of the August 26 report from the National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS), 53% of Colorado is experiencing some level of drought. Current conditions include 11% in Moderate Drought, 13% in Severe Drought, 21% in Extreme Drought, and 7% in Exceptional Drought. An additional 13% of the state is classified as Abnormally Dry.

While performing routine sewer maintenance, the district has encountered several protruding sewer taps resulting from recent pipe relining repairs. Protruding laterals or taps that protrude past the point of the lateral and mainline connection can block flow in the main sewer line resulting in a backup.
