While performing routine sewer maintenance, the district has encountered several protruding sewer taps resulting from recent pipe relining repairs. Protruding laterals or taps that protrude past the point of the lateral and mainline connection can block flow in the main sewer line resulting in a backup.
Bow Mar Water and Sanitation has contracted with Levi Contractors, Inc. to complete the following water main replacement project for 2024.
Mobilization for this project will start the week of July 8. Anticipated completion for this project is August 30, 2024.
The District office will be closed on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day.

Denver Water collects more than 55,000 water samples and conducts more than 200,000 tests every year to ensure that the water delivered to 1.5 million people is clean and safe.
Those samples and tests are part of a year-round effort monitored by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Those agencies also require water providers to issue an annual report on water quality.
